Luke 6:39-42

How quick we ar to judge other people!  Jesus himself tells us no one is good except God, yet we elivate ourselves so much and put ourselves on pedistals pointing out other people's mistakes, other people's flaws, and we are blind to our own.  Jesus has set us the perfect example and tells us we will not be greater than Him, but if we learn from Him we will be like Him.  Jesus Himself didn't judge the people He healed or ate with.  He healed them and saved them without criticizing them; He loved and forgave.  If we are to learn from Him and be like Him, we need to remove our judgemental planks and love people and see them for who they are just like Jesus did.

He also told them a parable: ‘Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into a pit? A disciple is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully qualified will be like the teacher. Why do you see the speck in your neighbour’s* eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbour,* “Friend, let me take out the speck in your eye”, when you yourself do not see the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbour’s eye.

We must listen and hear what the Holy Spirit tells us through praying and studying the Bible.

It is very easy to misjudge! Sometimes we cannot see the forest for the trees....

I think we will be judged on how we treat people, the Lord knows our hearts. He is the teacher and we are the students, yes we grow and transform but "the world" gets in our way every day so we become the "student" again.

We are the leaders and have the power to guide, inspire, and influence other.

Just remember people are always watching!!!
